Good hotel, price / quality is good. Friendly staff. Not the best location, but this is compensated by a free shuttle service to the city center.

  • 7.4
    Very good

Relaxing in the lobby + nice with the free shuttlebus into the city.

As a barca fan it would be nice to be able to see the championsleague match between barcalona vs Real Madrid in the Hotel.

Very large garden court yard. The one pool that was open was huge and allowed for lap swimming. Shuttle bus into the medina was on time and very convenient. Much better than driving and trying to park. Property is understaffed and not very well managed but the rate was good and the features made up for it. Also, nice decor in lobbies and dining rooms, traditional live music in main lobby and greeting guests with mint tea were nice touches.

Room was missing towels and toilet paper, bedding and pillows cheap and uncomfortable, sink water trap leaking on floor, one of the two large pools was unuseable due to algae bloom, buffet breakfast was disorganized.

I really like the hotel. The comfort was super! The rooms, the pool, the environment. I think you really got value for you money. All in all, a wonderful hotel with a very nice staff.

The hotel spa was okay, but to expensive compared to the prices in town and what you get for your money. So if I come back, I wouldn't use the hotel spa again. The food was okay, but a bit boring. For a 5 star hotel they should have more variation!

The rooms were spacy and clean, as well was the bathroom. Fantastic swimming pool, friendly staff. Good snack menu at the poolside bar. Nice hammam/spa but a bit expensive. Free internet with reasonable speed. Free shuttle downtown.

The hotel was obviously built to have the grandeur of a 5* establishment. Due to a lack of maintenance in every aspect, it has degraded itself to a 3, max 4* hotel. Although staff is friendly and big in numbers, it does not appear tp have the style and class that you would expect. It shows the absence of effective management. The furniture is old and worn (although the beds sleep well), curtains don't close because of broken rails, there are no showercurtains so the bathroom is flooded and very slippery. The breakfast buffet is ok but certainly not 5* while the music in the breakfast lounge is way too loud and very annoying. When you enter the hotel, big red carpets lie at the entrance; they are badly placed and extremely dirty

There was no airport transfer service as advertised Dirty Bad rooms

  • 9.2

The room is very comfortable and the beds out of this world..

The bathroom was very pleasant, but the shower did not have a curtain in it, resulting in water splashing everywhere...

  • 8.2

    Being quite

I asked for a double room they gave me twin beds. They were not responsive to the request I made while making reservation.

Very friendly staff, great service. The shuttle runs on time but does not run on Sunday and Monday. A very nice mall is located about two blocks away (go out the front door, turn left, and at the corner turn right--go straight). A view of the Atlas mountains is on your walk. It only took us about 20-30 minutes to walk to the main square, just look for the masque.

The shower head dribbled water but if you use the one in the tub it works much better. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were pretty hard.

The porters and cleaning staff were friendly and it was pretty.

It was the worst place I have ever stayed in. The staff were rude, unpleaseant and made you feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was a shock to be honest as we were one of about 4 couples in the whole place. I saved up extra so we could end our trip to Morocco on a high, but cannot regret it more. The people in the markets were much friendlier. We were told that we could stay in our room as long as we wanted after check-out as our flight was not until the evening and the hotel was empty, which was nice. However - they tried to charge us £45 when it did come to checking out. I explained that we were told it was fine to stay in the room and that it was a misunderstanding but was basically told I was a lier and was looked at like complete trash. Disguted with this place and would never give another cent to the Mogador group. Thanks for making the last day of my trip a total disappointment!

The hotel itself is lovely. When you get to the hotel you are given no information on breakfast times, free shuttle bus etc. When you get to your room there is still no information. Luckily I had read on previous reviews before I arrived that there was a free shuttle bus otherwise I would never have known about it. The hotel is a fair distance from the hotel, a good 10/15 minute drive so the free bus is worth using to save in taxi money. My partner and I bought some water from the local supermarket as there is no free bottles provided. Having travelled a lot you normally get 2 small bottles complimentary everday. When we got to the hotel with the water we were told we were not allowed to bring our own drinks into the hotel. (If we had been given any information we may have known this!) They did let us off but we had to buy water from the hotel at £2 for 2 litres for the rest of the stay. The staff are not friendly and we felt like we were an inconvience to them even though we were paying guests. I think you would be better off staying else where.

I didn't like the hotel as i felt uncomfortable being there. The staff are very unwelcoming and you feel like your intruding.

Location: Cut off from everything (shuttle bus every 2 hours). Quiet -except when a plane takes off and flies right over the hotel -but luckily Marrakech is not a busy airport. 2 very nice enormous outside unheated pools No alcohol in hotel, 1 mediocre restaurant, no alcolhol in hotel. Very large rooms (about 55 sq metres) king bed, bath sink, separate shower & bidet! -But in my room the shower head was partly broken, and the bath plug leaked unless you put the soap wrapper round it! Hotel capacity of 1800 but like a ghost hotel in low season. Conclusion: built as a grandiose hotel- but fails as such. E.g the net curtains in the rooms are grubby -probably not washed sincet he hotel opened.

    Houseekeeping was good.

This hotel is absolutely not worth 5 stars. Breakfast was poor and there were too many malfunctions in the room.

Pool was good however very cold. Large room. Food by poolside was realativly cheap

No way a 5 star hotel. Honestly a two star. On arrival to room it was still a mess from last guest. Problem took 45 mins to fix. No wifi in rooms. Rooms very outdated. Toilet would leak all over bathroom floor. Staff miss informative on resturants and almost anything you ask them. Gym facility costs 20 euro equivalent and only included cardio equipment. Smell of cigarettes through hotel. Breakfast has variety but of poor quality. Staff at reception very rude. No external food or drinks allowed into hotel. Old tv in room with no English channels. Overall would not stay in hotel even if it was 50 euros a night. Much better riads and hotels available in the area.
